About this Course
This course is a continuation of Aqeeda-1, in which we covered the foundational concepts of Aqeeda (Creed) in Islam. This course will address higher level in Aqeeda issues which circulated among early Muslims, and matured into different established schools.Â

Panoramic review of issues covered in level 1, and introducing the new themes of this course, and methodology. Â
Ayat Muhkamat and MutashabehaatÂ
Understanding different methodology in interpretating the verses.
Difference between the Quranic approach and Mutakalemeen approachÂ
Understanding the main differences between the two approaches in dealing with matters of Aqeedah.
Asmaa and Sefaat -1Â
Positions of different schools.
Asmaa and Sefaat-2
Rise of Jabriyyah, and Qadriyyah.
Qada and qadar-1Â
How did political dispute affected the Aqeeda debate.
Midterm examÂ
Assessment of the topics covered in the first half of the course.
Qada and Qadar- 2
Further discussion of Qada and Qadar and the different perspectives surrounding the topic.
Khabar Ahad as an evidence in aqeedaÂ
The views of the proponents, and those who reject Khabar ahad as an evidence in aqeeda issues.
How to manage the disagreement in Aqeeda issuesÂ
Differentiation between Qat’I and Zanni.
Allah SWT as the Rizk-Sustenance provider, Guidance-Hedayat and DalalahÂ
Understanding the concepts of Rizq, Hedayat and Dalalah and their connection to Aqeedah.
Final exam
Assessment of the topics covered throughout the course.
